Barrister Joseph Gbagyo and Onah Adeyi are two distinguished gentlemen advocating for the empowerment of persons with disabilities in Benue State.
Following the signing of the disability law by His Excellency Governor Hyacinth Iorlem Alia, there has been a heightened focus on disseminating information regarding persons with disabilities, including their vision, aspirations, hopes, and challenges. Media houses and public reactions have intensified, largely due to the efforts of Barrister Joseph Gbagyo and Onah Adeyi.
Since the signing of the law, Barrister Gbagyo, a renowned legal expert, and Mr. Onah Adeyi, Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities in Benue State, has collaborated to raise awareness about disability rights and challenges.
Their efforts have resulted in a surge of information on the signing of the law and its implementation, not only for the disability community but for all citizens.

The gentlemen commend the state governor for this significant step and encourage him to establish a disability commission, which would provide a platform for persons with disabilities to express their unique aspirations, vision, hopes, and challenges.
